I am posting some of my homework, and will update each week on what I am learning.
So far, every skull is different. Its critical to get the skull and facial shape correct. And then its the eyes that seem to matter most.
My watercolor paintings are shared with you.
These are great John, nothing like looking closely at the human skull to train one's eye to see ever deeper. I remember sculpting the skull w/ clay in university, it was damn hard, did it over and over again but learned so much from the process. Lots of spaces come available on a regular basis in our building, you might want to post a notice on the bulletin board. Drop by my studio if you come by...I have moved across the hall #349..big and luxurious space, LOVE it!!!! Will probably start teaching workshops again soon if your interested.
